Hot Wheels Car Culture Cars And Donuts Set

This set was released in 2017 under Car Culture series. What is Car Culture series? Car Culture is Hot Wheels premium line model series with metal bodies and bases, wheel with rubber tires and more detailed decorations. It focus on adult collectors and these models cost 3x times the cost of a mainstream Hot Wheels model. This line kicked off with release of 'Japanese Historics series' in 2016. This set consist of 5 cars that is Subaru Impreza WRX, Custom Datsun 240Z, McLaren P1, Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA and BMW M1 Procar. BMW M1 Procar and Subaru Impreza WRX is the new casting for this set. I bought this set for RM 95/23$ from from worldofwheel on Shoppe. The reason this set is very cheap because I bought damaged card variant as I am loose collector.

1. McLaren P1

The model is in Orange colour. The rear wheel is enlarge compare to the front. Tampo headlight and logo on the front. Love the black deco design on the car.Sadly, there is no taillight tampo on the back. Maybe budget cut for the black deco design? :\

 2. Custom Datsun 240Z aka Fugu Z

This Datsun is an customized version of the Datsun 240Z with Rocket Bunny widebody kits. It is known as Fugu Z. Its real life version is owned by Sung Kang,the actor who potrayed Han in Fast And Furious series. The model is in white colour. My first impression with this model was why this model very plain LOL. No deco, only taillight, logo and license plate tampo on the back. Hot Wheels should put more detailing on this car such as headlight,front indicator and hood grille tampo as this is on premium line series.

3.Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA

The model is in metalflake silver colour. This is probably least favourite car in this series among  collector due to the colour is not blend with the deco. For me, it is not bad. I love the Italian stripe, the number 2 and some brand logo deco on the car.Too bad it does not have any taillight and headlight tampo.

4. BMW M1 Procar

This is my second favourite car in this set, the iconic BMW M1 Procar. It is new casting for this set. This car is absolutely stunning . Hot Wheels had done a great job on this casting. I love widebody kit on the car. The BMW racing livery deco is just beautiful.The gold wheel really match with the car. However, there is not taillight tampo which is major drawback of this car. Overall,this car is must have for bimmer fans.

5. Subaru Impreza WRX

Last but not least, everyone favourite, the legendary Subaru Impreza WRX. It is also the new casting for this set. I really love the stock version of this car. The iconic Subaru blue colour plus with the gold wheel. This Impreza version also known as 'Bugeye' because of its headlight shape. Speaking of headlight, the headlight is plastic (part of windshield mould), not tampo. The front bumper is actually part of the base. the reason why the base colour is in blue. The detail on the back of the car is awesome such as he taillight, the SUBARU logo and STI tampo. This car popular among scalper. You can see the price of this car on eBay. It is better to buy the whole set than buy the car alone.

The packaging:

I really love the art of the packaging. If you notice there is a Camaro behind one of the car. It is 2013 COPO Camaro. The model car exist in real life and only for RLC Exclusive with number of 0/5
